Comparison between 1880 and 1971 editions of the 1:50.000 Topographic chart of Aranjuez allows us to fix the changes on the direction of the rivers Tajo and Jarama during a century. Sometimes, charts and books of the XVI and XVIII th. centuries can also extend the study on that period.
