Since 1976, there has been a general trend toward increased labourforce participation among women of all social classes. Yet important provincial variations in women's labour force participation rates persist. In this paper we have analized the differentiation by gender in labour rnarket in Spain provincial level and the evolution different activity rates the last fourteen years, morever the way in which features as the age)..the education level, the economic sector and the professional situation influence on ditterences berween men and women.
