Fronteras para emprendedores. ¿Cómo de atractivo es un país para hacer negocios?

Resumen


Este documento analiza el emprendimiento inmigrante en general, los desafíos que enfrenta en los diferentes países, el clima empresarial y los factores estrechamente relacionados. Teniendo en cuenta un gran número de factores importantes como la movilidad en el mercado laboral, la reunificación familiar, la residencia o la antidiscriminación, entre otros, su objetivo es cuantificar hasta qué punto un país determinado puede resultar atractivo para los extranjeros para hacer negocios. La metodología empleada durante esta investigación está basada en métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos que combinan el análisis estadístico de datos de varias fuentes oficiales como del Banco Mundial y Transparencia International, Políticas de Integración de Migrantes (MIPEX), la OECD y la UE entre otros. Por primera vez se ha propuesto un análisis profundo para medir la atracción de un país para los empresarios extranjeros mediante la introducción del llamado índice IMIGRENT. La comparación entre los diferentes enfoques muestra resultados similares. Sin embargo, el índice IMIGRENT reporta algunos valores adicionales importantes que no se tuvieron en cuenta en los enfoques anteriores.
