In our work we study the differencial behaviour of the elderly. The aim is to contribute to the analysis of the needs in the spheres of health, social services and sanitary aspects. We conclude that the main aspect of this study is the heterogeneous selfanalysis of the state of health within a structure of age and sex, level of education, income, family structure and the rural/urban characteristics of the population.
