The urban precipitation. The example of Madrid

In these notes we study the urban effects on precipitation. In Madrid, the city is more rainy than the surroundings, in a ratio that ranges between 11 % and 20%. The maximum urban-rural differences beeing reached in winter. The most rain are produced on intensity days below 5 mm. and above 15 mm.
