Reflections on geographical space and its instruction. With this article we intend to summarize the main problems involved in the instruction of Geography bearing in mind both its characteristics as a science and the needs of pupils according to the principles of Cognoscitive Psichology. The main issue to be considered is how to teach the notion of «geographical space», not only from a declarative but also from a procedural point of view. In order to do so, the concept of geographical space is analysed under different perspectives. We suggest various activities so as to ease the teaching-learning process.
