The influence of the relief in the urban heat island in Madrid. The thalwegs of the Manzanares and the Abroñigal To study the influence of the relief and city landscape in Madrid's urban heat island, we take two profiles, one of the Manzanares river thalweg, at the outskirts where we find cold air coming from the country and the other of the Abroñigal thalweg, a rather urban one.
