La geografía española a través de sus revistas. Una aproximación bibliométrica.

The espanish Geography through its journals. A bibliometric approach. This paper presents a bibliometric study about 6.894 geographic articles published during 1971-1993 in spanish scientific journals from the CINDOC data bases. This production is compared with that produce in other sciences also included in the mentioned data bases. The articles are published in 297 journals which are analyzed for specialities, publishers and edition places. Also is analized how those data's influence in the themes the articles are about. The language in which they are published and authorship rates are analyzed as well as the behaviour of the more productive authors and institutions and their relationships between them. Finally, it is analyzed what kind of topics and territories are studied in the articles.
