«Protected Cultivation in the European Community and in Spain: From Basic Technology to Tenological Innovation». The introduction and application of new techonologies in commercial horticulture have made it possible to increase the productivity of land to reduce the productive cycles of vegetables. Apart from the important changes that plastic greenhouses have brought about in productive systems they have also played its part in the exploitation of marginal land as well as in the emergence of new models of development in the fields of research and application ofpeak technology.
