This paper is a literal transcription of an interview held with Torsten Hagerstrand. In this interview, Professor Hagerstrand makes considerations on the definition of Geography and its relationships with other scientific disciplines, and on basic geographic conceps like region and space. He also speaks about his research trajectory, showing the purposes and interests that laid behind his work on innovation diffusion and the formulation ofTime Geography.
