The celebration of the Universal Exhibition at Seville has been useful in terms of solving, at least partially, the urban infraestructures deficit.
Transport infrastructures were the ones which better development performed, not only in relation with the internal city connection, but also in the metropolitan, regional and national communication network.
Other urban aspects performed as well remarkables progresses, specially social utilities and the use of new economic resources. But this progresses are not generalisedand they are spatial and social limited in their spatial extension.
