Abstract

In this paper, the relationship between 61 types of ships and commercial services in a small residential area surrounding the central nucleus of Madrid, is established. From the Principal Coordinates Analysis, a number of commercial clusters is found in the area. The resulting pattern may be useful to compare sorne other commercial areas of different rank within the city.
