The transport of goods by road in Spain according to the III national enquiry

Abstract

Some aspects from the III national enquiry about the transport of goods by road are analysed using the information given by it. Firstly, the distribution of goods on an interregional level and their transport on an intra and extraregional level are studied showing the most important supplying areas from each region. Vehicles/kilometre are analysed according to their range (national, regional, or local), their distance intervals and their carrying capacity. The tons of transported goods, which place the road in the first place of the whole of means used, and finally the Tons/Km. are taken into account according to the kind of goods, foodstuff, raw materials, energetic products, manufactures and others.
